Another day, another pop-up store for Dublin. Bord Gáis is showcasing its new iPhone app through touch screen technology in a Grafton Street pop-up store recently vacated by West Coast Cooler. A stone's throw away on edgy South William Street, the PlayStation Hub gaming pop-up was buzzing when we visited. The trend isn't just limited to vacant shop units - we've created mobile pop ups; a cafe for Diet Coke in a 1950s Airstream and a pop-up hair salon in a pimped out ambulance for Garnier. With everyone from Marmite to Chanel getting in on the act; this global phenomenon is still going strong six years on since the term was first coined.
